OUR MISSION
"A family devoted to God, knowing His son Jesus, following Him and making Him known through active faith, working love and enduring hope."
Here at North Oaks we strive to be a family. We are thankful to our loving God and we are filled with joy that his son, Jesus, paid our debt of sin. With humbleness and gratitude in our hearts, we invite you to share the grace and love from our Lord and Savior. God has a plan for us to be in a personal relationship with Him. Jesus has started the mission that we as a family of God should be involved in with all our heart, mind and strength. That mission is found in Matthew 28: 19-20
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
As children of God in his family we are committed to the mission.
OUR BELIEFS
We are Christians attempting to go back to the simplicity and purity of the first century church. We take the Bible alone, and preach the same message, in the same way the apostles did in the book of Acts. With the Bible as our guide, and with no human creed to stumble on, we enthusiastically seek to find and imitate what the original church was like.
Membership in the church is a result of following the Bible's plan to become a Christian. It is not our place to establish man-made requirements. If you seek to obey Christ and receive the salvation offered by Jesus, we stand ready to assist you and our arms are open to receive you as a child of God.
